Alignments Allowed: Any

Description: The silent law, as they are often called, rogue hunters specialize in infiltrating thieves guilds and causing their demise. They are loners to the extreme trusting few people and keeping a very low profile.

Role: Rogue Hunters are highly efficient in what they do. They are masters of disguise and misinformation. They survive on wits alone. When in combat, they are very deadly, often carrying an entire aresenal of hidden weapons. Within a group, they can replace a thief in most aspects, although with a little less finess. What they lack in thieveing skills, they more than make up for in combat.

Secondary Skills: A rogue hunter can come from any walk of life and therefore may have any Secondary proficiency.

Weapon Proficiencies: A rogue hunter is limited in his choice of weapons, like other rogues. This is mostly due to the practicallity of their profession. It is difficult to picture blending in with other rogues when wielding a two-handed sword.

Nonweapon Proficiencies: Bonus: All rogue hunters recieve the Information Gathering and Disguise non-weapon proficiencies. Recommended: Warrior: Blind-Fighting, Set Snares, Endurance General: Riding (Any), Rope Use, Rogue: Adaptation, Local History, Intimidation, Tumbling, Throwing, Bribery, Voice Mimicry Wizard: Reading/ Writing.

Equipment: Rogue hunters employ equipment similar to most thieves. They tend to carry many more weapons than one would expect (they may need to fight if their cover is blown).

Recommended Traits: Alertness, Light Sleeper, Inherent Immunity: Poison.

Benefits: Rogue Hunters may select one weapon as their weapon of choice. Whenever they use this weapon, they attack as a fighter of the same level. A rogue hunter also recieves a +1 to his disguise or his information gathering (players choice) per four levels of experience.

Hindrances: Rogue Hunters recieve only recieve 25 points a level which they can distribute amongst thieves skills. In addition, Rogue hunters who are not thorough in their work will soon find vengeful members of thieves guild hunting them down.

Wealth: Standard for the character's class.
