Shingraxilaerano, or Black Dragon, as it is commonly know is a medium shield about 3' in diameter. The shield appears to be made of black dragon hide including the three-dimensional image of a black dragon's head. In fact, the shield is a black dragon that has been cursed and boundinto this form. The dragon is extremely hateful and is constantly trying to manipulate its wielder into freeing him from his prison. Nothing short of a remove curse by a priest of 12th level or higher followed by a wish will free the dragon. The dragon has an EGO 24 and INT 18. He is vengeful, manipulative and sarcastic. He will not let himself be wielded by any one of good alignment.

Black Dragon is a medium shield +1. It confers immunity to all acid and corrosive attacks. This immunity extends to all wielder and all of his gear. Once per day, Shingraxilaerano can spew forth acid. His breath forms a cone that extends 10' and is 5' in diameter. The acid causes 3d4 points of damage in the first round. If a save vs. breath is failed, the acid will do 2d4 and 1d4 damage in the second and third rounds respectively.
