Black is a 6-1/2' long claymore. The blade and handle are forge of blackened admantium that seems to absorb all light. The crosspiece and sword block are forged of cold iron. Pale blue runes run the length of the sword block.

Black is a claymore +3. Black is charged with engery from the negative material plane. On a natural roll of 20, the person hit must roll a save vs. death or lose one level of experience. Monsters who fail to save lose one hit die and suffer a -1 to their attacks and saving throws. The sword also protects its wielder from all life and level draining abilities.
