Night Stick is an impressive looking mace. It has a 36" long handle and ends in a 5" dia. ball. The ball is riddled with small spikes and has on large hooked blade along its side. The entire mace is made of a blackened metal. The handle is wrapped in leather died the color of blood (or with blood, no ones quite sure).
Night Stick is the equivalent of a footman's mace +3. The weapon gets its name from its ability to cause blindness in its victims. To use this ability, the user must speak the command word and make a successful attack roll. If he hits, the victim must save vs. pertification or be blinded for 1d8 rounds. This function may only be used twice per day.
