Board shorts are garments that are desired not only by Sandaliians but by rangers and druids. The pants grant a +4 deflection bonus to AC, while their attractive floral print exudes a pleasant aroma, granting a +2 to Charisma. The prints allow the wearer to blend in with the surrounding forest, making it more difficult to spot them (treat as a cloak of elvenkind). However, once per day the patterns may animate as 1d8 assassin vines that sprout from the pants and attack, climb or manipulate according to the direction of the wearer.
