Bloodfang Bracers

Edition:  l  AD&D 2e  l  D&D 3e (original)  l

The original 2nd Edition entry from the Forge.

The Bloodfang Bracers are made of dried leathery flesh and have mithral studs. The flesh is browned and cracked but is very durable. The Bracers were made by the mage Zhengir as part of his experiments with vampirism.

The Bloodfang Bracers act as gauntlets of ogre power, granting the wearer 18/00 strength in his arms. In addition, these bracers act as a ring of vampiric regeneration. Any damage done by a weapon in the wearers hand, will heal the wearer by the same amount. These weapons are cursed with a twinge of evil. The first time they are put on, the wearer must make a saving throw vs. death, modified by magical protection, or have his alignment shift one degree towards evil. Hence, good to neutral; neutral to evil.

As submitted to the site's 3e section; shown unchanged.
