Bloodwineby Citadelraven.com
Description: Bloodwine is a thick red wine with a slightly salty taste. It is not well liked by most folk. Bloodwine is in fact a highly addictive drug and poison brewed by Ebon Drekenridge. Ebon brewed this concoction after spending many months in research. It is a blend of a dry red wine common in the North with blood from a dead virgins body and several rare herbs. The bloodwine was developed to weaken vampires so that they could be easily killed. Effects: Bloodwine is an alcoholic beverage and will have the same effect on any person that drinking any other wine might. While most humans (and demihumans) find the wine distasteful, vampires find the vintage particularly enticing. Vampires who drink the bloodwine find that they do not feel the incessant hunger to feed upon human flesh. The wine however holds no nourishment for the vampire and despite the lack of hunger, the vampire begins to starve himself. The wine is so addictive, that the vampire must make a Will save (DC 13) with a -2 penalty for each glass that he has consumed, in order to realize the effects. In game terms, the vampire becomes slow and weak. He recieves a -2 penalty to all actions and finds that his innate abilites are slow to react, taking effect an entire round after they are activated. Location: Bloodwine is a unique vintage that is only brewed by Ebon Drekenridge. He journeys through the North disguised as a wine maker and is generally not easy to find. He is very secretive about this concoction and will only sell the wine to people he has researched thoroughly.
