Originally posted on the Realms of Evil forums (Womb of Creation), September 30, 2001. It comes from the equipment list in the author's thread for his character, Warrax the Chaos Warrior; the author said he converted the character's gear into 3E terms. The rest of the list is standard items. Shown as written, with light spelling and formatting fixes only.

This is Warrax's horned helmet, the item that is most often attributed to him. He rarely, if ever, removes it. The helmet itself is red, with some yellow details on it, and the horns are magically affixed to the helmet. They are the horns from a creature Warrax killed long ago.

The helmet itself is a magical device, designed to aid Warrax in the area of defense. It creates a strong energy barrier around him that increases the effectiveness of his armor, while at the same time helping to deflect missile weapons.

Game terms: +5 to AC, +2 more to AC versus ranged weapons.
