Northman Death Creed

Valhala

by Odin.

Loe there do I see my father.
Loe there do I see my mother,
My sisters and my brothers.
Loe there do I see the line of my people,
Back to the beginning.
Loe there do they call to me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the Halls of Valhala.
Where the brave,
May live,
Forever.

This poem is rumored to be passed down from the mighty God Odin to his poeple. The Northmen sing this song to inspire them to greater glory. It is also recited during the funeral rites.
