Missle Weapon Style

The Missle Weapon Style is available to all Warriors and Rogues. It is only available to priests of Gods who allow missle weapons. This Style is a combination of the Archer Kit from the Complete Elves Handbook and the Missle Weapon Style from the Skills & Powers Handbook.

To gain the Missle Weapon Style, a character must spend one proficiency slot. If the character point system is used, the charcter must spend as many character points as would normally be required to achieve a weapon proficiency (i.e. warriors spend 2, rogues and priests spend 3). Proficiency in the Missle Weapon Style grants the character a -1AC bonus when firing a missle weapon and avoiding missle weapon attacks. This bonus does not apply if the character is being fired at while in melee combat.

Once proficiency is gained, a character may gain special maneuvers similar to the melee fighting styles. Learning a new maneuver costs one proficiency slot or the appropriate number of character points. Only one Maneuver may be learned per level.
