It is one of three items carried by the Highpriest of the Sleeping Fire Mountains in the author's "Barrier Kingdom 2" setting post; see also the Shield of the Giant and the Titan Hammer +3. As long as the Highpriest is in contact with lava, the plate mail heals 4 points of damage for him.
