You walk from the courtyard around the base of the citadel. To your left a stable boy hustles by, his shoulders laden with water buckets for the horses. Past the stables you come upon the barracks. This is where the new recruits of the citadel make their home. You quickly enter and claim a bunk.

You leave the barracks for your first day of training. You enter the Training yard, its edges defined by the massive stone cliffs extending beyond your site and the imposing form of the Citadel proper. A grizzly looking warrior looks at you expectantly. His smug grin promising hours of exhausting training.
