The Butcher
The Butcher is an excuisitely designed battle axe. Its blade mounting is forged from red steel and the blade is made of adamantium. The handle is also forged of adamantium and has gold inlaid scroll work at its base.

Butcher is a battle axe +1 of sharpness. Whenever Butcher makes a successful attack against a flesh and blood opponent, it gains an additional +1 to hit and damage. For each consecutive successful attack, it gains an additional +1 to hit and damage to a maximum of +5. These additional pluses are temporary and wear off in 1d4 rounds. Note this power only functinos versus creatures that can bleed. Monsters such as golems and undead provide no bonuses to the Butcher.
